they had test and tune at my local race track last night, which always turns into basic street races. guys will bet money their car will beat other cars. I ended up lined up to a blue honda civic with turbo. I gotta admit, for a civic it was a good lookin car, not gawdy and ricey. i ended up beating him by about a car length and a half. i really respected this guy, cause instead of being the stereotypical ricer about it, he pulled up next to me, got out and told me that my z was insanely fast, then wanted to see the motor. he was actually pretty cool for a guy that drives a civic.

 

Hey nice run. I had almost the exact same experience, although I wouldn't say the guy was quite as cool. I was surprised by the civic, even though I pretty much owned him. Could you list your mods, or any of his that you know.

 

I don't really like front-wheel drive. I've seen plenty of fast 4bangers, just don't do it for me.

All i have is borla exhaust, other than that, it's completely stock. He had exhaust, short shifter, intake, all kinds of stuff. he thought my car was a v6 and wanted to race me. It freaked him out when i took off. he said the noise rattled his windows (i've shaved the z28 emblems off my car, it's a sleeper and as an added bonus, it's real quiet until it takes off, can barely hear it idling.)
