Down goes a Camaro SS

Raced a I belive 96 or 97 SS from a stop. Guy was running his mouth because he had an SS and reved at me seemd like flowmasters. I had my cutout closed, as to let him think my car was a v6 (good old formula). Right as the other light when red I opened the cutout, and the look on his face was hillarious. I chuckled to myself, and on green I got a car on him from the start and by the end prolly around 2-4 was kinda hard to tell I didnt look back at all. IT was also an A4.

good kill. if it looked like 93-97 body style, im guessing it was a 97 ss. i believe 97 was the first return year for the ss.

96 was the first year for the return of the ss. It had dual driver side exit tailpipes.

Good Kill, where are you located?

Now go get some LT's, E-WP, Madwolf Tune, and ASP Pulley and start giving LS1's some trouble

Im located in/near Naperville, Illinois. Im looking into midlenth headers cuz I want to stay legal and tune from pcmforless. But my motor does have 100k so I am questioning those mods.

You'll be fine. Best header/HP for the buck in a midlength is RK Sport. Yes, they are a kinda ricey company, but they basically took AS&M's design and made it their own for $300 less. I wouldnt question any of those mods on your motor. Now, spray or forced induction maybe. Perhaps leary of a heads and cam kit, but I think you'll be fine as long as the car wasnt totally abused.

Compression was good all were around 200 psi +-15%. I am thinking about getting some kind of midlengths, cuz I need to be legal. I already have a high flow cat which I am waiting to put on once I get a new y-pipe. The once thats all I done I will get a tune from pcmforless.com and at this point I will be done modding my car. Except for tires maby just the rears.
