Looks like my run against a top fuel dragster in my stock Z28.

He was going 130 mph at the 1/8 mile when he shut down , and I was just getting started. I have a video of it. One of the funniest things I've ever seen. Oh yeah, he had a 1.19 60' time!!!

I'm sorry to say it, but I kinda fell sorry for the Honda. He obviously liked the car enough to put some effort into it, but hot damn, he got smoked.

LOL, the same thing happened to me over in stanton. I had a run against a turbo monte carlo (older model of course) that had a tube frame. He deployed his chute before I even got close to the 1/8 mile.

If I recall right, he was running low 7's.

Yeah, it was at Stanton that I ran that guy. You never know what you're going to run into there. I couldn't believe they lined me up with him. The guys in the booth must have been laughing their butts off. It was my first time at the track. I couldn't hear or feel my car. I ended up running terrible that race. Like a 14.9@95 MPH, stock. I just couldn't concentrate with this freak next to me in the dragster. It made for a good video though.

Basically, picture the video above, but my Camaro was the car that got spanked.

LMAO!

I hear ya. I knew the guy was fast, but when he launched I damn near pissed myself

They seem to not discriminate who or what they line you up against. I've also been lined up against drag bikes, snowmobiles and quads.

He was very proud to mod his car to run low 16's. You can tell with the euro tail lihgts all of the way across the back.

You apparently didnt get the memo! those Type R stickers are like turbos + aerodynamics! they give you SO much power and its like a wing to keep a FWD car on the ground!!!!

you should make the trek to martin and skip going to stanton... much better track, and normally the fast cars will wait to line up against other fast cars... and by fast i mean 9 seconds and quicker...

alteza and sticker mods... gota love em'...
