Which car is faster a 02 cobra or an 02 camaro ss.Ive heard of it going both ways,but i want opinions of which car people think has the advantage in the 1/4 mile.

 

Considering there weren't any 02 cobras, i'd the the camaro.

The 01 cobra is slower by a decent margin
The 03 cobra is faster by a slight margin

 

they did make some 2002 cobras............200 I think
they went to australia........or at least that is how the story goes

Yea I heard that story also, and read the article put out, all it was was a bunch of left over 01's which they called 02's. John Colletti actually did start making 02's, they werent much different then the 01's. After the head to head testing(vs last years model) and the older 01 Cobra walking all over the 02 they decided not to produce it and wait a year..There was no actual car made that year...back to the question...a well driven 01 cobra will be beaten by a ss just by a small margin....and a well driven 03 will convincingly beat a ls1 6spd.
