Bone Stock 94 Formula -vs- Modded 02 WRX

I was crusing to my buddy' house in my 94 Formula (A4, stock save some high performance wires/filter) with my buddy in tow (02 WRX, up/down pipe). We catch a straightaway and I see him making a run at me on the passenger side. I put my foot through the floorboards and when the downshift came, the rex's pull stopped immediately. We ran them up to 70 or so with the distance between us just getting bigger, but I got out of it because we had to turn soon.

Not bad for 135k miles and a passenger in my car.

Well good kill, but something is wrong with your buddies car. You won't be able to pull on a ls1 like that in a stock car. I pulled about 4 car lengths on one from a stop to about 110 but i have most of the bolt ons.

Neither of us have hit the track yet, but I run right with my buddy's C4 that traps at 99-100 so my car's a pretty strong runner.

And drewstealth, you're certainly right. Good thing I didn't race one!

Your car must be running strong, I don't start pulling hard on my buddies wrx with exhaust and up/downpipe, till he shifts into 3rd (around 60).

Tony, you racin from a roll or stop? From a stop I'd expect you not to pull till later on, but from a roll, you should slap him around like a bitch ...

we just raced from a stop the other day, 0-100 I only beat him by about a 1/2 car. He gets about a 1 1/2 cars on the launch. Now if you run into a wrx with mods and boost controller......probably wouldn't be wise to race from a stop.

I stay way clear of any AWD cars from a stop.
