Beat two ricers in a row!!!

I was at a stop light on a saturday night and there was a guy around 19-21 yrs old with his girlfriend in a newer 2000+ acura rsx. I know those cars aren't fast, but that kid thought he had the fastest thing on the streets. He kept revving it and looking at me and then he looked at his gf and they would laugh. So then the light turns green and he peels out burning out and I purposely hesitated for about 1.5 seconds just to humiliate him even more. I didn't even push on my gas until he was a good car length and a half away from me. Then I begin to push on the gas to avoid loss of traction and once my wheels where turning, I slam on my gas pedal and I smoke that kid and his girlfriend and as I passed him like he was standing still, I saw his mouth open and his girfriends eyes got really wide. I was laughing my *** of.

Then I get to the next stop light right after and sudenly a new kid in a subaru wrx begins to rev. It is as if he saw me race that acura rsx and now he felt he wanted a chance. I know those wrx are turboed and I am all stock, I don't even have a lid, just a flowmaster so as soon as the light turned green, we both gunned it and I also beat this kid like nothing. I got around 3 car lengths within 2 seconds and then I had to make a turn so I slowed down and stoped at the turn signal, meanwhile the guy is still about 10 car lengths behind and as he passes me, he didn't even look at me

It was fun.

lol niiiiice dude. yea, sometimes i think that ricers think the more letters their car has in the model name,or even if it has the letter "R" in it,its insanely fast. nice way to bring him back to reality!

I always get the ricers that want to race when there g/f is in the car. I never get the one that wants to race when he is alone. Although they always want to race in the rain or when the roads are wet so they can take advantage of there all wheel drive systems.

I've noticed that too, and not just with the awd models. I guess they think they've got a chance because rwd sucks or something. That's why all the top performace cars have rwd or awd.....

But I usually let them do whatever they want if it's nasty out. I plan on keeping my car for a while, not acting like an idiot in the rain and ending up in oncoming traffic.

Embarassing ricers is an art form. We abide by "rules" when racing. If you have to stoop to their level, you'll never get your point across.

You got 3 car lengths on a WRX in 2 seconds Goddam, your stock Z28 moves like a mother. Stock WRXs pull 1.9x 60 ft times. Must have been a really crappy driver.

Yeah, I thought about that too, but I just assumed it was because I have an A4 and he probably had a stick shift. Either way, he was pissed LOL!!!

Normal WRX's get smoked from a launch as well as from a roll. if they're modded, or STi's, thats a completely different story. but a base wrx doesn't have the power to take advantage of its awd system.

That's only if the WRX driver realizes he can't launch from an idle.

Those low 60's are usually obtained with 6000 rpm clutch dumps aren't they? I hope the WRX drivetrain is stronger than the one in the Camaro...

HAS to be a terrible driver in the WRX

Look at it this way, even if they dont make as much power as a LS1 does ...

Lauching with a Z28, you have to lauch at a LOWER power level (Because your lauching on two wheels) So say your lauching at 150HP 200TQ ( VERY rough #'s but say thats what it takes from a stop to spin rear tires )

Now, with the AWD WRX, your lauching with all 4 tires. Hence you can launch at higher power levels without spinning. Say with a WRX you can launch at 225HP and 250TQ ... Then coming out of the hole, theyre already IN their powerband.

Until the Camaro would exceed the WRX's peak #'s, it wont pull on it, but when it does, then the race is over. WRX's 1/4 times are ALL in the launch. Look at how low the time is for how slow the MPH is.

Lol they *can* do that, 5000-5500 rpm dump, but then again their going to be buying a new tranny after a couple passes. People have been literally sheering off the teeth of 1st and second on the stock wrx tranny.

Also I *think* 1.8 or better on a stock wrx is a bit optimistic, seems most common to be 1.9-2.2ish depending on how well they drive / launch.

For reference.

Now the STI box.... well, haven't heard of anyone breaking one yet and stock 1.8x and better 60' are a bit more common.

talked to 2 guys in new zeeland with sti's, both had problems with 1st gear... i was real shocked... but it was yahoo chat, the pics of the cars looked real though, and they knew about the 2.5L twin turbo galant (not available in the states), so i think they were for real... only time and hard launches will tell...

There was a post in here awhile ago about a kid who killed a ricer at a mall when he was picking up his sis from work. It was great because the ricer's g/f started the **** talking!

Nice kills.

I think the ricer boyfriends are as dumb as their girlfriends! If they had a clue, they'd tell those bitches to shut up before they get themselves smoked!
