The first gen autos are dogs, they come with different cams, smaller turbo, smaller injectors, etc.
I always heard the 2nd gens were close to high 13's stock??true??

Patrick kelly you write good or "dobro" 
AND robb4964 my car is heavy , almosts 4000lb , plus my suspension can hold torque , so I have no traction , I spin tires in all gear, 1st, 2nd , 3rd and little bit in 4 th

But , you are hating on these cars calling them slow when your car has headers and it runs that slow . If you had the same mods on a stock turbo Eclipse or Talon , he would likely hand you your A.S.S . Headers , cai , ect , You got a little bit of money in that car for it to be so slow . Just sounds like somthines wrong Im not ******* Mustangs , Hell , if I could get a good deal on a 87-93 forx body , I might buy one . Of course the stock 302 would be out within hours

Im aware of a Mustangs weight Hasi , not trying to make you mad

I don't have headers and new 255lph fuel pump when I runn 14.62@95.71
I runn 15.1 with only flowmaster mufflers , hypertech chip CAI and 180* thermostat and stock springs, then I change clutch (king cobra clutch) and off road H-pipe , lowered car 2" and everything else and I runn ONLY 14.62 , that pissed me off really bad , I get only mph but there is no f*****g more tenth of second , I know I have in that time different tires , but this new tires goodyear GSC (now bold tires ) is better than old one goodyear VR45 , I think my new suepension is bad , or whatever , because I must lifted up only frond end on launch BUT I lifted up both front and read end , so I don't have traction
