Yeah, I go every once in awhile. Didn't get out as much as I would have liked to this year, but oh well, there's always next spring. Are you at Edgewater a lot?

Yeah , next spring im going to see how fast i can get the TA on street tires , I ran it on the last day of this year but the clutch was slipping real real bad . When i go back im going to have a new clutch .. It was the best day at the track I have ever seen.........so many gorgeous cars , and most where quality , gorgeous , easy to appreciate . There was a 16 year old kid up there running a 2003 cobra , he hit a 12.8 , bone stock wish my daddy would buy me one .
But yeah , Used to go every single saturday...Ill have to get up with you next spring you can meet my friends "all about the cars "
I think most of them have bow-tie blood....I got an import friend
"drives them to be different " Who just sold his 300ZX , after he put so much in it , and bough a brand new looking prelude Si ,99 , he already has the turbo kit to go on it and is pulling the motor to have the bottom half beefed up and getting it prepped to hold 30lbs of boost , even though he is only going to run 18lb's...so he says anyway..But yeah . ...I drop ya a line around spring .

Good deal, I'm already looking forward to spring. The kid with the 03 Cobra, did you catch his name by any chance?

Anyways, there's always a lot of locals that make it to E-water for the Test and Tune nights every week. Be sure to drop me a line when the track opens, and we can hang out at the track and get some runs in.

I hate those imports

you're going to need more than what you have done to your stang to beat a 1st gen. dsm with similar mods to the 2nd gens... not a bash on your car, just 2nd gens are a bit harder to get to go as fast as a 1st gen...

97 awd eclipse Is automatic with mods ,
96 awd eclipse 5 speed is STOCK
95-99 Eclipse GSX run from factory 14.9@92
95-99 Eclipse GS-T 15.0@91
90-94 Eclipse GSX 15.2@89
90-94 Eclipse GS-T 15.9@85
THIS is from factory , so there is little chance everybody can make this on street or track with stock cars

Any way those cars have 210/190 HP and 214/203 ft-lbs. they dont have Torque , like me 295ft-lbs.

A convertible 94 'stang runs mid 15s at best. Torque or not, that's still slower than anything on your list. That 90-94 GS-T at 15.9 @ 85 is just flat-out wrong. They're only a couple of tenths behind an AWD car and actually 1-2 mph faster.

what hasi means is he keeps blowing head gaskets so some times he cant even dip into the 11's depending on how much boost he is at at the given time he blows at 20 psi and higher but he did at one time run a 10.21 but he is searching for a way to keep the head on lol

I had a 1st gen pull a slingshot move @ 35 mph and it took me 'til over 110 mph to get back around him...I know he had an aftermarket dual 3"out muffler and nice wheels, not sure if other mods..

My sister had a 1st gen , white w/black top. Too cramped for my 6'2"frame, but somehow her 6'8" husband managed to drive it. I think maybe he sat in the back seat..
Hers was an auto tho.. over 15 sec sounds right for hers...

I always heard the 2nd gens were close to high 13's stock??true??
Where's Edgewater? Besides near the river...I'm a regular at Kikare in Xenia...sometimes National Trails in Columbus..

My the best runn is 14.62@95.71 , 3950 race weight with Flowmaster American Thunder Exhaust Systems , 2 1/2 Mac O/R H-Pipe , King Cobra Clutch Kit , Ford Racing 3.73s gears , Hypertech Chip , BBK Cold Air , Short Belt W/out Smog Pump And A/C , Timing 16* , Thermostat 160* and bald tires( no traction) and low fuel pressure (bad fuel pump),
now I have 1 5/8 Mac long tube headers and 255lph high pressure fuel pump , so maybe I gonna hit 14.3
