AWD turbo eclipse vs. SS

Raced a modded AWD turbo eclipse. I am not sure of all his mods, I know he had full exhaust and boost control. We went from about a 20mph roll, he pulled a lenght on me at first then at about 50mph it was head to head. At about 70mph I started to pull pretty good in front of him. I was almost 2 lengths in front of him when I saw a car merging in from the freeway off ramp so I had to stop.

A freeway off ramp on the track.

"Track conditions" were not permitting another race. Ended up pulling over and weiand talking to him for a bit. Nicest ricer ever. Admited to his loss and we talked about cars for a while. I was surprised he knew the hp weight of my car. Not all ricers are punks.

Why is he a ricer just because he owns an import? That makes no sense. There's a whole lot of ricers around here that own Mustangs and Camaros.

Nice kill, sounds about right. What year was the car?

All import drivers are ricers, everybody knows that.

Actually I think he was just using the term "ricer" to describe import drivers in general, not in a derogatory fashion.

Oh well, good kill.

Exactly, but now I am going to try to call them import guys, unless they are a "ricer".

So this guy runs 10.21 in a FWD DSM? That would make him the 5th fastest FWD DSM in the world. How come I've never heard of him?

Or did I read that wrong?
