just on their forum and a few wer saying how the have pwned Camaros .. i hade one for a while and can't really see one against my Camaro SS and havent run into one yet.

 

no way they could beat us. they might have beat one when the camaro wasn't even racing them. i have not raced one before, but i have rode in them. they are not that fast.

 

Driver mod can make up for a lot.

That said, assuming equal drivers and cars in proper running condition, no, there's no way. Even a bone-stock LT1 A4 should take the win.

 

My friend has a 06 SS with the supercharger. I beat the living **** out of him when we race and my car is a 99 Z28 A4 2.73 geared. He just put GM Stage 2 on his car which is about 40 hp I believe so he might be hanging with me now.

 

Them Cobalt SS's are quick but my buddie Danny has a black one with the S/C and I smoke him by at least a few cars every single time...They're making them stories up, Maybe they beat a Camaro with the Iron Duke engine...hell I've never seen a 4 cyl Camaro

 

one of the guys at work has a Cobalt SS and he did the stage 2 kit as well. problem he says now is that caused massive wheel hop. were suppose 2 be "testing" here soon... damn rain..

 

I spanked the crap out of one with me and 3 friends in the car, he had him and his g/f in it. My car only had exhaust/intake on it to.

i heard from a few people that cobalts aren't supposed to last that long in terms of mileage on the motor, something about they are not well built which could be a first for gm. either way i think they're nice cars for they're level but are not on our level.

Here is me against a couple of cobalts (black = GM stage I or II?, red = stock)

 

If I recall correctly, 13.0 for me vs 14.0 for the black cobalt and 15.0 for the red one.

 

I had a SS 2.4 N/A it ran low 15s the SS 2.0 Supercharged is low 14s

 

i got beat by an 06 SS/SC by about half a car length now i will never get to run one again my cousin had it before he got his GTO but i beat SRT-4's that are stock by like 6 car lengths and they are like 230 compared to the cobalts 205HP Stock and 245HP with S2

 

the SS/SC's run like 14.3-14.5

 

Dude how did you lose to one of them??? That boggles my mind...I smoke them EVERYTIME
