If i can find the guy tonight, im gonna hit him up to race, my car is in sig and i will be running a 150 shot, his car is an 02 z28 m6 with lt headers, cai, lid, cutout, cam, and a tune, his car currently runs 12.5@ 115mph, i figure my traps would about be with his with the 150 shot, and these runs will be on street tires,, so how do you think i would fare against the ls1?

 

Ill give you the edge w/ the gas, but it wont be a cake walk, hes got a fast LS1

 

Is that 13.6 w/ all your bolt ons?...you should be alot faster (higher 12's) w/ what you have.

 

yeah thats with all the boltons, i was very dissapointed that day, but im gonna try it again at the track next weekend and see if it runs better n/a

 

Yeah your car should definitely be faster than it is. I ran 13.1 @ 105.5 in my old 95 Z A4 with less mods than you and a stock converter. What is the DA at the track you run at? What are your 60' times?

well i was out on the prowl and couldnt find him or his brother tonight

 

a baby cam in a full bolt on / header ls1 is more likely good for an 11.5 than a 12.5.

 

the car would run high elevens, but the last time he tried it on anything other than street tires, it was to his rear end

 

he needs to learn how to slip a clutch rather than dump it.

 

I'll give you the win on the spray. Put a cam in that car....with your bolt-ons a cam would really make a HUGE difference!!! Black 93Z here also.

i would mod my car some more but i leave for deployment in 2 weeks for iraq, but the modding will resume when i return home ,, and oh yeah no one has asked about his driving,, but hes the best 6spd driver i have ever saw
