So there's this car club in el paso that is only for camaro's, I've been wanting to join. In order to join you must race someone they pic and win. They picked a 1988 Iroc Z, the 3rd gen had a flowmaster catback, accel lower intake, and edelbrock headers. The guy that owns that car had barely joined the club last week. So we go from a stop. I got the jump on him, I guess I got good timing. And I just took off. He couldn't recover and I won. Beat him by a good 4 car lengths or so. So i'm in the car club . O and I can't wait till the fall!!! My dad is buying a Z06!!! Hope he lets me drive it! An all new LS7.

yea it's the initiation, well yea raced a slow 3rd gen, but the fastest camaro in the club runs a 11.5 in the 1/4 mile. Plus they get great discounts on parts.

 

sounds worth it to me.....if they lined everyone up to the 11.5 camaro then there would be no club!

WTF kinda club is this...next you'll have to rob a convineance store...most car clubs make you pay dues and let you in...and really what is the point of racing the 15 sec car...
