95Z vs. '03 WRX
95Z vs. '03 WRX
I was riding around in my friends wrx tonight and we got lined up at a light with the guys we were cruising around with (also friends) in his z28. The light turned green and we both rolled out of the intersection and i'd say went from a 5-10mph roll. We got to 60 and the WRX pulled about a front fender on the Z28. There were 2 people in the z28 and 3 people in the WRX
mods are:
Z28. 1995 M6 with intake, airfoil, MAF sensor, Pacesetter LT's, short shifter, and loudmouth exhaust.
WRX. 2003 M5 with up pipe, down pipe, catback, BOV (doesn't add power but mod none the less) and best of all manual boost controller set at about 15 psi.
The WRX is very fast in 1st and 2nd gear since it can get full boost now with the MBC. I would have hated to see the results if we went from a stop

Re: 95Z vs. '03 WRX
0-60 is not much of a race, since it takes only about 5 seconds, not even all the way through 2nd gear in a M6 LT1. If one guy screws up only a little bit the other will win.
Either way, good death/kill.
