Last night i was coming home from a football game when i spot a LS1 vette 1 car up in the next lane over at a red light, i really wanted some action, when i got next to it i noticed it had track numbers on his car...i assume he just came from capital raceway which is right aroudn the corner. So I get next to him and floor it for about 2 seconds to let him know i want to get my *** handed to me. Well later we were still cruising side by side down the road, and he floors it....(sounded very sweet...he had a cat back who knows what else) i floor it at the same time, expecting to get my *** reamed...and nobody moved an inch from 45-105. Now after that i tried gettin him to roll down the window to talk , but he woudlnt. That race made NO sense to me....i raced his lighter, more hp, LS1 top end, and stayed right with him. WTF? This vette was black, very nice looking, with no passengers, if the other driver see's... please respond what other mods you have, and what happend? BTW: The vette was an auto.

Then, tonight as i am coming home from work, i was turning into the road by my house and this cool *** looking car goes flying by me. I decide out of curiosity to go check out what it is, as i am approaching that car, this passat comes out of no-where and cuts me off, then turns on his flashers, then later he guns it, and i just ignore him, i mean come on its a passat? So we get to the next light and he is shaking his head at me. This young "yo boy" asked me if i really had a Z28? He goes wow then i thought it was a v6 , he goes u truely have a POS. Mean while the guy in the rx-7 is telling me "you are so slow"...i responded what in the hell are you talking about, i was driving at a constant rate of speed. Then i just got pissed and thought... ur both mine. Of course they were both in a turn lane, and i wanst. So when the light turned green i went and got over from the shoulder to stay on the same road as them, and the passat goes zooming off weaving in traffic ...while the rx-7 turns off the road , i didnt follow suit with the passat because i am not like that....i understand racing is very dangerous, therefore i wont race like a jack *** in a 35 mph zone, with tons of other people around. So then he turns on his flashers again after he cuts two cars off, in my head i am thinking let me catch a red light with this ***. I do...and he signals for me to roll down my window, and says well yeah "i know u are gonna get me out of the hole, but that doesnt mean u are faster". Then he starts reving while i just sat there, and the light turns green, and i mash the gas, i mean i kicked the pedal out of frustration, and with the many ruts in the road, I spun till about 50mph, and i was still beating him by a car lenght, once i caught traction it was all over, i gained car lenghts upon car lenghts. Ricers

 

lol nice kill! Ricers will never understand that their little 150 HP has nothing on a Z28 or V6 Camaro

 

Those "Ricers" must have just come from a "Too Fast Too Furious" movie and thought they were fast.

If thats the case, I've seen way too many ricers in 'maros around here. And they were probably '****' too.

Fair enough, it takes all kinds man. Naw, you didn't hurt my feelings, but it sure prompted me to post after lurking here for a few months. We're all car lovers here, and it is safe to say, that guy was a tool.

 

So which guys were the ricers....the GM LS1 vette that would roll down the window....the German Passat that had no clue .....or even the moron in the RX7 that turned off....nowhere in the thread did I see a Honda yet someone has to pull out the name dropping.....

While I hate ricers and morons as much as everbody here unless the thread contains a moronic ricer driving a Honda....leave the name out of the replies and stick to bashing those contained in the original thread.

He never said that people who drive Passats are ****, and ricers specifically. He said these guys were. Get over yourself.
Oh yeah, and I've seen plenty of ricers who were driving Camaros. It's a state of being, not necessarily what you drive. BTW, nice first post.

 

Let me help you out a little with this. I actually call all ricer cars Hondas, and the ricer people Honda Boys. I know there are nice, and fast Hondas, but that's where the trend really started, and thus the name became associated with the mark for a lot people. You aren't going to change the generalization, so please keep your pie hole shut so that we don't have another thread completely decimated by the diarrhea that continually spews from your mouth. Thank you.

 

That's pretty much it Serg. Honda and ricer is pretty much synonymous. There definitely are fast ones out there which we all ready know, but the riceboy quotent of Hondas/Acuras FAR outnumber the serious contenders and that's why the reputation is so bad.

I do feel bad for you because Honda was bastardized the worst by the whole fast and furious craze, and therefore people like yourself who are into serious speed are unfairly lumped in with the rest. But that's just how it is... 8 out of 10 riced out cars I see is a Honda/Acura. I know you realize this, you should just let certain comments like that roll off your back.

 

Yep, I realize that. My Initial post was to get:
a) clarification on the word "ricer" as we all know any given person in any car has the "potential" to be a ricer, as these people all were, I wasn't sure if CamaroGuy was just using it as a blanket statement just like nearly everyone here associates being gay or fagish with being bad.
b) To appologize in behalf of most of us enthusistastic normal B5/B6 guys, I hate seeing that kind of S#it.
