65 impala w/modded 355 or 90 mustang 5.0 modded

Ok my dad has a 1965 impala 2 door with trick flow twisted wedge heads, cc xe 275 cam, built bottom end w/ around 10.5cr, built up turbo 350 with 3000 stall, 8.8 10 bolt with locker and 3.73, edelbrock performer rpm airgap intake, and speed demon 700cfm carb oh curb weight is 3500. His buddy has a 90 mustang 5.0 stock short block ford gt40 heads, ford motorsports b cam, ford cobra intake manifold, bbk intake, accufab throttle body, cobra rockers, pro m air sensor, and 3.55's 5 speed. Which one would win out of these two racing? ive already lost to my dad by about 3 car lengths but i just wanna know cause they wanna race and i dont know anything about mustangs. thanx i lost with my camaro ls1 stock except for lid and headers

Your friend will lose because of the GT-40 heads and cobra intake. Your old mans combo is simply stronger, and your friend has a mid 1990's setup.

Since he basically has what a 93 Cobra has minus a few parts, I'm guessing 225-230 at the wheels at most. The valves are small and the heads are old school compared to what is on the market today. Other long runner headers are much better as well. If I were him I would change out the heads and intake for something else.
