350z put to shame.

Raced a red Z on my way to my parents tonight. Once I floored it I pulled 3 cars during his shift to 2nd. He had 1 or 2 cars on the launch until I caught enough traction and by 65mph or so I was a car or so ahead.

My car feels SO slow, but how did I pull that hard!? I also think that with my mods I didn't pull as hard as I should. My car is confusing.

any insight?

Stalled auto cars can feel slow sometimes because to our ears they rev too high without the appropriate forward motion. But it's an illusion, they really are accelerating harder than it seams.

I did race a G35 when completely stock and BARELY edged it out to about the same speed. I suppose that's what happens when you have real mods.

Wonder what would have happened if I had DRs!

Good answer!! Not sure I would have went this way but that's a scientific way of going about it.
