2 Mustangs in 2 days.....

Last night my buddy with the cammed '95 Mustang GT was over, and we decided to go out and have some runs. We went to this service road sort of thing, and first went from a dig. I wasn't giving it my all because I was nervous that a car would come down the street from the other way, and I was the one in the oncoming traffic lane, so he took me on that one.

Second time we went from a 15 mph roll......he just burned rubber through 1st and 2nd so I took that one. Not bad results, I just wish we could've gone from more of a roll on a real road where I didn't have to worry about traffic.

Not much of a story, but the runs weren't that long......we just had never raced eachother before so we wanted to see what the results would be. He's making about 300 RWHP but he has absolute crap tires so he can't launch well at all. That's why I was able to take him. His car would be a good matchup for an LS1 SS though.......I'd like to see that race.

Second one was tonight, on my way home from dinner. I was making a U-turn to go back towards my house when I spotted what looked like fox body Mustang headlights waiting at the light ready to drive where I was.....so I sorta crawled away from the intersection where I turned around at, and sure enough the light turned green. He came off hard because I guess he saw me kinda waiting for him, and we came even.....there was a car up ahead but there was enough room for one of us to move over once we got up to it. I looked over and he didn't look back, but then I heard him hit it, so I did. We went probably about 100 yards then I got ahead of him and I was able to just avoid the car up ahead by moving into his lane. I kept going and at the next light he pulled up and said "your **** sounds good, man" I said thanks and he pulled away. If we had open road I would've taken him......damn traffic sucks! He definitely had some work done to his car though, at least exhaust.

Just make sure you don't hurt somebody on the street, but good kills

He doesn't just have a cam.

-Trick Flow cam/heads/intake package
-March pulleys
-Magnaflow cat-back exhaust with H pipe and shorty headers
-MSD plugs and wires
-BBK cold-air intake
-Autometer air/fuel and oil pressure gauges
-3.73 gears
-Short shifter
-And some cosmetic stuff (Cobra floor mats, aftermarket front bumper).

With good tires and a good full tune, his car can be REAL quick. The torque right now is unbelievable. I've driven it.
