I was just cruising back to my girlfriends house with her and we were stopped at a light a half mile from her road. The light turns green and the Srt 4 cruises through and then slows down to 30ish and waits for me. I wasnt really planning on racing so I was just accelerating normal until I got next to him.

He had his hat cocked sideways and looked like one of those ****** you just want to beat with a 2X4. All of the sudden he punches it without any signal so I punch it (was in 3rd). We started from about 30 mph so my revs were pretty low. He had almost a car on me when we started. I immediately start reeling him in. By 70 I was passing him and at 80 I blew by him when he was shifting. Continued up to around 110 and smoked him. He performed the ricer blow, flying past me while I was slowing down.

Had to turn back around to go to my destination but it was worth it. Good first race in the car.

Thanks I'm glad I had this car and not my old one (bolt on 94 TA A4 w/ 130k miles ), he probably would have took me then.

 

Second gear would have been a murder! My buddy just bought an SRT-4. If my LT1 was stock, and thats what I was used to driving, it'd feel fast. But it just feels like it needs mods. Good kill on worthless human.
