One of the first Mustangs I've heard that sounds like total crap.
Nice 1/4 mile time and traps though.
Anyone find out what the actual weight is. I'm really not impressed with stripped down cars because you lose so much of the nice daily driver aspect of the car, especially one as new as an '05 Mustang. Anyone can rip a bunch of weight out of a car. I wonder what he did.

The owner of the car is Justin Burcham. Justin owns a small shop in Maryland - Justin's Performance Center. He was the NMRA Factory Stock champion in 2002, and one of his partners, Mike Washington, was the 2003 Champ (and 2004 runner-up). He knows how to make cars go fast.
His 05 weighs ~3400 lbs with him (he is probably 140 or so). The car is far from gutted - it has lightweight seats, a rear seat delete, Bogart wheels, and little else removed (spare, very little gas, etc). He makes a bit under 310 RWHP.
If you watched that video, you'll see that the car left hard, but it didn't leave real clean, and also wasted a lot of movement on the 1/2 shift. The 05s have a 3 link suspension which will take some learning for typical Mustangs guys that are used to the traditional 4 link setup. Once they get the chassis sorted out (and they will - they are racers), there is a tenth or two more ET (reference the 113+ MPH traps).

I agree totally about the sound, normally I think mustangs sound pretty good but that sounded gross.
Also those gears a definitely not streetable. Good run, but if you were going to destroy the street drivabilty of the car I would expect a faster time.
