08 G37 Auto vs 01 Z28 M6

My bolt ons are in my sig, this is the same G37 i raced a little while back but this time different gears and different speeds and got it on vid. To be fair to the G37, im modded, he had one extra passenger and he is a auto. Him being a V6 and a bit heavier doesnt help any either. He has Stillen Intake and Fast Intentions Exhaust. Weve taken his car to get pricing on a dyno tune and the person who does it says his car as it sits should be about 285-290 RWHP but till he actually puts it on the dyno we wont know for sure. Its not a slow car by any means and ive driven it on several occasions and always think it feels faster then my car. This race was from 2nd gear to 3rd.

Mine was like that for a bit, it takes some time for it to buffer and play. It usually takes mine about 5-7 seconds before it starts to play.

290rwhp sounds kinda high for one of those cars through an auto.

Yeah, but he also stated the car was fitted with an intake and exhaust. 285rwhp would be attainable I would think through a good dyno tune.

to me from experience.. i think a car always feels faster in the passenger seat. no idea when the throttle is hammered etc.. might play into that.

my friends 15.9 second rabbit felt faster than my 14.0 3rd gen..

nice kill. i need to get an lsx one of these days

I completely agree. Riding in my buddy's C4 (which is slower than my Z28) made me feel like i was in a rocket ship.

I always thought its faster in the drivers seat but i guess its just faster in the passenger. I just ordered BBK LT's, ORY and going to send out my computer for a re tune and see what happens. Hopefully that will keep me happy with the power for a little while till i install nitrous.
