Yes - all the 2.5 Subarus have the same shortblock as the STi. The major differences are the intake manifold and choice of turbo. This is why I drive a "plain looking" Legacy; I can't wait to get the mods on it for a real sleeper

Antz - Drive the Legacy too. It's just as fast with twice the luxury. Might as well be comfy while hauling ***.

Yea the corvette heads i have are ported, the only thing was i didnt have the cam. Boo but my mechanic says to put it in i need supporting parts. What else would i have to get to make sure it wont blow. because the last time i had the cam in it blew the motor, which gave reason for taking it out and putting in a mild mild mild reground cam close to stock to keep its from blowing again. Oh and an update that wrx i raced, raced a 275 whp 04 wrx and he beat him by 3 cars. The other guy just dropped 10k in his car and was supposedly sponsored by renick subaru. I was proud of my buddy with the wrx, and of myself because he beat that other guy.

The heads on the 2006 FXT/LGT/OXT/WRX 2.5L are different now since they have the new air injection system that gets rid of the uppipe cat, something the STI doesn't have. Very similar across the board otherwise. Nice engine, big step-up stock in feel compared to the 2.0, and gets some very nice power increases at the bolt-on level. (STI level of power with just DP/stage 2 accessport).

13.3@101 run of LGT with 2 mods, accessport stage one and catless uppipe (fastest run I've heard about with these mods by far):

Bingo. In order to run the numbers you have to treat it like you hate it. Then it runs the numbers, but parts are short lived.
