Yup sounds about right.
Maybe an A4 LS1 vs a M6 05 might be close
Last time I checked GTs were still 5spds

Funny, that is the same reason we left it was pretty bad that night. The girls were freezin there azziz off.
On may 13 it wasnt as bad just a bit windy but not as cold. I got 19 runs that night as opposed to 9 in april. I'd bet with no wind we would run a full second quicker

Re: 05 mustang stories

Raced two at the track, an A4 and an M5 (transmissions, not euro-cars,lol). The auto ran 14.02 and the 5 speed ran 13.76. Funny thing was, I actually beat the manual by a bigger margin, 13.62 against M5 ,vs my 13.91 against the auto. A 5 speed lined up next to me on the street and I got excited. Light turned green, I got a nice launch, The mustang...stalled. What a dissapointment. He must have been nervous about getting owned by a nine year old car. Thats ok, my 3.73s are done and I'm buying some longtubes, so I'll find him again, and some day I'll learn how to drive at the track.

You are correct in agreeing with the Antz man.

They have the same tranny I got. A TR3650 M5
Ratios are... (1st 3.38) (2nd 2.00) (3rd 1.32) (4th 1.10) (5th 0.81)
Final drive of ( 3.55 ) from the factory.

Why doesn't ford just drop the 6Spd in the Mach 1 and GT already?
