Re: WS6 springs vs. Eibach pro's

ok im bringing this thread back up, i want some more oppinions. i havent check my springs to find out if they are the Eibach ones or whatever but i figured ill post pictures of how the car sits. BTW i have since added hooker long tubes to the car with an ORY pipe. heres how it sits...

so you guys think it will be too low with the long tubes and Eibachs and there wont really be a big difference anyways?

Looks like stock WS6 springs to me. Personally, I think you will get clearance problems with the LT's if you go with the Eibach springs.

Re: WS6 springs vs. Eibach pro's

It probably wouldnt since the WS6 package does sit lower than other models. Id stick with the stock springs seeing how u would only gain maybe .75 inches of drop! Perhaps though youd like to make a little money off the eibach seeing how my car is just the trans am model and could use a little dropping to it?

Re: WS6 springs vs. Eibach pro's

Those are the stock WS.6 springs your riding on. My car looks a bit like yours when it was stock with about the same gap. If you do add the Eibach then it's going to get a bit bumpy but over all pretty good feel. I also have some revalved shocks. You might want to look into that. There's no way those stock shocks will last you with the Eibach's. I still have my old springs just incase I do sell pro kit later on.

Re: WS6 springs vs. Eibach pro's

yea im deciding if i should drop it a little, or sell the springs and save for something else. the front tires are wrong for the car and a little tall so they make the gap seem smaller in the wheel well. they are 245-45-17. i think it will look worse when i put a 275-40-17, but idk. if there is going to be a .75" difference then ill definitley do it but i want to be sure there is going to be a difference.

Re: WS6 springs vs. Eibach pro's

Your going to be able to tell there's a difference. I'll email my pic of my car so you can see how it looks with the Eibachs compared to the WS.6 springs on Saturday. I also noticed you have LT's. That my be a problem with speed bumps or sometimes just getting over a curb. I have midlengths and I scrape once in a while.

I'd skip the Pros and keep the WS6's. Save the money for a more worth while mod.

Go with the Pro-Kit.

Not only will they make the car's stance look better, but the handling will greatly improve, especially cornering.

Re: WS6 springs vs. Eibach pro's

i think once i get ambitious for spring time and whatnot and have new tires for the back, ill put the good backs in front, new tires for rear, put the Eibachs in, then get it aligned. i have a feeling it will sit a little better and handle a little better as well.
