Wierd Brake Pad Wear

Just helped a friend replace his front brake pads on a 96 TA with the Baer 13 Track setup (C4 style with PBR dual piston calipers). The inside pads (both sides) were more worn on the top than the bottom and the outside pads were more worn at the bottom than the top; so they looked like this from an end view: \\. What would cause this? I looked at the caliper mounted brackets and they were perfectly parallel with the wheel hub

Re: Wierd Brake Pad Wear

Well, according to Baer that wear is not unussual and even typical due to the floating of the calipers. Baer says that pads of a late model Cobra will show the same wear. The tech at Baer said not to worry about it.

I guess it will be interesting to see what yours look like when they are changed.
