why is my car front end so low after I drive it?

Have a 96 ws6 which has new ball joints tie rod ends and springs, ?brand, when it was off the jack it was a bit over 26 inches to the top of the fender lip, i pushed up and down on the front end, then I drove it around now its down to 25 which is way low with 17 zr1's and 275 40 17. these springs were about a 1.5 shorter than the stock ones which have it up to 28 in to the lip? any help or adjustments would be helpful

Just sounds like your new springs had to settle. I would wait a couple of days before getting an alignment.

I don't know what kind of springs you have, but the advertised amount of lowering is approximate. And some tend to lower the car more than is advertised. 25" is very low.....

Assuming you have all the parts in properly, like the plastic spacer that goes between the perch and spring itself, you just have a set of springs that are ground scrapers. And the car doesn't have much front shock travel so I always recommend against springs that lower any more than 1.5", and try to stay around 1.25" if I can convince the person to do so.

In short, if you want to come up, you need different springs.

Just drive over some parking bumps, that will get your springs set.
