Whats needed for 1.6 60's in a M6?
Whats needed for 1.6 60's in a M6?
Im trying to cut 1.5's or 1.6's 60 foots in my m6. This is what I have for suspension at the moment:
-SLP Sub Frame Connectors
-Spohn Torque Arm
-Hotchkis LCA's
-Spohn LCA Relocation Brackets
-BMR PanHard Rod
-Front Qa1 Shocks and Springs
-Rear Comp Eng Springs
-1LE front sway bar.
I have a good clutch, and 12 bolt, and the power to get there, check sig. I currently have some 255/50/16 MT ET Drag Radials, but dont know if those are gonna get me there, on a 5500-6000 clutch drop. Any suggestions and tips are welcomed!

Unhooking the front sway bar or removing it altogether, slicks screwed to the rims, shocks dialed in,a good prepped track and a clutch that will hold. Relocating the battery to the rear will help a little too.
Re: Whats needed for 1.6 60's in a M6?
I run the 255 50 16 M/T DRs with stock springs/stock Decarbons and similar Spohn/Hotchkis stuff with the addition of Spohn 1" moly rear sway bar and whatever the stock sway bar is with poly end links...Have gone 1.60 and average high 1.6s...Thats with 16x8s all around, too...and a good prepped track. It would be easier without the front bar and with front skinnies...I do know that I had tried the 1LE bar and it definitely did not help my 60s at all, I sold it and went back to the stock diameter bar...I also had Spohn relocation brackets on my old 10 bolt and they didn't help my 60s at all, either, but I know that they work for some...I know Im an A4 car, but I think that the 255 M/Ts can handle a high rpm launch...My psi ranges from 15-19lbs depending on the conditions...
