When I took out my stock phb, i was able to twist it with my barehands. IMO that is ridiculous. Under any powerful load, it will flex and the rear can move. It is probably a good thing to have.

I was thinking best bang for the buck though, remove front sway bar and get SFCs? yes/no?

removing the front sway bar will only make that weak phr twist even more since the front is going to want to go up and cause the rear right side to squat more.

exactly..allowing the car to get another 50-100 rpm while the body is twisting therefore putting you a little more i nthe powerband and a little faster 60...not to menchion the weight off the front, also improve the overall et very slightly...dont worry about the stock phb, its very flimsy but i cut 1.60 60' on it all the time...no problems here

lower control arms...

relocation brackets would probably help too.

but hands down the best mod would be tires...but not the cheapest. and remember tires don't only help the short time, they help your shifts too...with 400rwhp i get no audible spin when i power shift at 6500rpm, although i have lca, brackets and 315 DRs

LCA before torque arm. You really don't need to replace that until you get a lot faster. Do relocation brackets at the same time.

Re: Whats the best budget 60' suspension mods....

PHB is for handling, not launching. Who cares if you can twist it? It DOES NOT NEED torsional ridgidity to do it's job. The question in, can you bend it? The answer would be NO.

Free mod, remove front swaybar
Free mod, learn to launch
Free mod, lose unnecessary weight and experiment with weight placement. (You may actually launch better with more fuel in your tank)
Free mod, experiment with tire pressure

Cheap mod, box your stock LCA's
Cheap mod, Poly TA bushings
Cheap mod, If you really think the PHB will matter box it too.
Cheap mod, VHT track bite (IIRC thats what it's called)

Your next best bets, Torque converter and tires!

LCA's and a panhard rod. Agreed though, it's all in the tires.

Get tires, stall convertor, lca's in that order. Oh and ditch the front swaybar...or you can just unhook the endlenghts at the track if you want it for handling.

SUB FRAME CONNECTORS or all the rest of the mods won't work real good.

Ever seen a Camaro pop the "T" top's out on launch from body twist?

And how about an airbag for the right rear spring to help resist squat? Cheap, like 60 bucks, no compromise when aired down for street handling.
