What do i need?

I have a 98 Z28 and once winter is over i plan on lowering it 1.5" in the front and back. What is everything i need because i want to get the most performance out of it, and still have a semi-comfortable ride. Thanks

If you lower it 1.5", you lose that much suspension travel. That means your ride isn't going to be the same. Your springs and shocks have that much less distance to work before your car is on the bumpstops.

Better shocks will always help dampen the spring movements, but they can't magically recover that lost travel.

I'm not speaking against lowering the car, I'm just forewarning you of one of the realities. The reduced travel is one reason you need a stiffer spring. Of coursing stiffening the spring rate has its own effect on the ride and handling. Some good, some bad, depending on what you want out of the car.

What are some of the good, and some of the bad effects??
