what is causing my wheel bearing failure

alright so here it goes, i just bought a 01 trans am and i noticed that the right front wheel bearing was making some noise. I replaced the wheel bearing with a used one I had on my parts car, the wheel bearing i used had about 100k on it but had no play in it like the one I originally removed from the 01. Well it has been about 300 miles and I just started to notice a little noise from the wheel bearing I just replaced it with. A little more info on the car is that it is a salvage title car (was damaged from the rear), but the front right sits lower than the front left. When i replaced the wheel bearing I checked out the suspension and nothing seems to be worn or bent.
