What brand of shocks?

I just placed a large order with Spohn to replace alot of parts. (SFC's,LCA's,Sway Bar,PHB,and Torque arm) Wanted to see what kind of shocks everyone has and recommends? Also, to anyone who has ordered from Spohn before, about how long is the wait?

Re: What brand of shocks?

Since you have stock springs, I'd suggest Bilstein HD's.

The Bilstein shocks are a good choice. As for the wait from Spohn, it should take about a week give or take a couple of days. UPS is the holdup in the whole process, not Spohn.

Yep Blisteins are fair/good replacement shocks with stock spring(not with lowered one).

You can also check the Konis adjustable wich are in my opinion the best street shock on stock spring or lowered one.

Because lowered spring doesnt give a significant better handling, its the quality of the shock that make all the difference

Yeah, the Koni single adjustables would be an upgrade over the bilsteins.

Re: What brand of shocks?

IMO you can't go wrong with Bilstiens since they are under 400 bucks for the set. Koni's are to expensive, although a great street shock, I would never use them to there full potential. If your car is lowered talk to Spohn about some revalved Bilstiens, they are the best to use with lowering springs. The HD's are to heavy for lower springs and the two don't match up well.
