Warped Rotors?

Alright, heres the deal. Back in December, I thought I might need new brakes, so I pulled off my wheel and checked em out. When I looked at them, it looked like I had a couple more months at least left on them. Well, starting about a month ago, my brake pedal started vibrating a little bit, not alot, but a little. It has progressively gotten worse. I havent had a chance to mess with them until this weekend. I know its probably warped rotors, but I REALLY hope it isnt, even thought thats all it really can be. So, I guess what im asking you guys is what else could it possibly be and what can I do? I would like to upgrade my brakes, but dont have 17's and dont plan on getting them anytime soon. Plus, I dont really have that much money. How much is it to upgade to the LS1 F-Body brakes? Where can I get all the stuff also? Is it worth it? Or should I just get some power slot rotors? Or something else? I would like to keep this as cheap as possible, but if it doenst cost that much to do an upgrade, then I would consider it. Thanks for the help guys.

I would decide between a stock replacement rotor from Autozone(probably $50 or so), and an upgrade. Paying more for powerslot or other "trick" rotors doesn't make sense, given your options of either cheap, or an upgrade. The Autozone rotor will be just as good as the stock one, or any stock-size replacement.

I don't know the cost for the LS1 update, sorry. Hundreds, though...

Around 200$ - 300$ depending on the seller.

Do the LS1 upgrade, it is well worth it. But if I were to do it over, I wouldn't buy the "kit", I'd get it all seperately. You need the following:
LS1 spindles: from a local salvage yard, and make sure they aren't bent

new LS1 rotors: I like the Wagner rotors from Oreilly's, and they have held up to my roadracing, so they should be fine for street

LS1 calipers: You can get the calipers with pads (loaded calipers) from Autozone or other parts stores, or buy the calipers new from a GM source (Dal, Jason), or buy them at the salvage yard

You can reuse your stock LT1 brake lines, or upgrade to SS lines. If you stick with the stock lines (and possibly even with SS lines) you'll need to bend down the mounting tab to give them enough reach.

Lightbulb AutoZone/Parts Store Rotors

Just an F.Y.I., I just replaced the two rear Rotors in my car due to a bent passenger one. LOL, I did an 'ace ventura' park job infront of a bunch of College girls and all went well until I didnt think I was close enough, so as I was letting off the gas to let the Tires stop, I hit the gas abit more to barley move a tad more..and caught the gutter and smacked the curb...HARD! ANYWAYS, lol..
When you goto buy the Rotor, make sure its the same as the one on your other side. They do have slightly different Rotors. Some have a squared off edge on the inner part that sticks out and some have a rounded edge. I bought the rounded and got home to put it on..when I checked the Driver side Rotor just to ensure both were good, it was different. I had to go back and get a different Rotor. Check and make sure, the thickness is different too in the metal!
Unless you're going to race your car or your driving sucks bad, you dont need the Upgrade. My brakes work perfectly fine and I replaced mine with the stock rotors and slightly better pads. I wont upgrade until i get me a new set of those 18" Z06 Motorsports
Good luck, sorry for the long post.
edit..by the way..there are two choices of stock replacement quality...metal rotors made in Mexico..or metal rotors made in the kick *** USA! guess which is a better (thicker) quality
