warped rotor?

What would be more likely to warp my rotor? I upgraded from 245 to 275 tires and I think there was a slight alignment issue that was amplified by the bigger tires. At the same time I changed the brake pads to Hawk standard pads. Now I can feel it is warped. I didn't turn them though, could that be it? I have new rotors, but don't want to put them on if they'll just warp too.

Re: warped rotor?

rotors usualy warp from over heating - like some hard breaking or something similar

GM rotors are especially good at warping - I warped the front rotors on my car making a panic stop on a dry highway
