Unknown squeak while under a hard turn.
I have noticed that when I make a sharp turn or take a hard curve I hear a squeaking sound. The sound sorta sounds like the same thing you would hear if you had bad brakes (a high pitch squeal). The weird thing is this sound is even produced when I do not use my brakes. I was wondering is their any chance a warped rotor could cause this? I think one of my front rotors is warped, I just didn't think it could cause this kind of problem when the brakes were not applied.
Re: Unknown squeak while under a hard turn.
It could be the e-brake is stuck a bit, or the brake pads are low, and the force put on things in a turn makes them squeak.
My car is doing that too... so I've got to check it out.

Re: Unknown squeak while under a hard turn.
My aftermarkets exhaust used to make a squeaking sound on left turns as it cam close to and rubbed against the body. Might want to crawl under there and move some stuff around to see if you can recreate it.
Re: Unknown squeak while under a hard turn.
I checked and I can see no area where the exhaust is shifting against the body. My brakes are starting to wear thin but they are not to the squealers yet. I'm thinking it could be the e-brake. Years ago I got into a wreck that involved my right rear wheel, I put the car on a lift and I noticed the e-brake was jammed. I was able to unstick the e-brake but their is a chance it could be the cause of the problem.

is it only if you are turning one particular direction? If this is the case the front wheel bearing/hub assembly could be getting worn out and need replaced. the bad one would be the one that is on the left side if it does it when you turn right or vice versa
