UMI Performance

I noticed this company selling suspension parts for our cars on ebay. They look identical to BMRs and are cheaper and use the same material and measurements. What do you guys think?

Tubular LCAs: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7914445777

Adjustable Panhard Bar: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7915093471

I think thinking about buying from them.

Re: UMI Performance

they look good to me! That's a good deal. Buy those lca's if your interested in drag. PHB looks good too. If your interests are in autox then get some w/ rod ends.

Re: UMI Performance

I purchased their panhard a few months back and recently, well over 2 weeks ago won the auction for the relocation brackets. I haven't had good luck with them as far as shipping. Customer service was good, they were actually out of stock on the panhard when I won that auction as well, so it took extra long to get it. I would have to say overall its good stuff though. Can't wait to see how the brackets mount up.

do you experience more suspension noise (vibration) with the adjustable PHB? I like the idea of the adjustment but don't want to increase the interior noise. did the rearend need to be adjusted? if so, is this common for 4th generation cars?

the relocation brackets are weld-in only. did you do the welding or did you take it to a shop? what setting are you using for street? I wonder if this will have an effect on wet weather traction?

thanks for the tip and it is good to hear such good feedback from a company that offer good prices. I noticed there are two different LCA's offered. Which LCA's is everyone purchasing, 1.625" x 1.250" or 1.250" x 1.120"? I plan on getting the Relocation Brackets, LCA's, and PHB.

I welded them at the shop I work at...took about an hour from start to finish to install everything. As far as wet weather traction...I doubt that the relocators will make that any better.
