UMI K Member = Steering Wheel 90 Degrees off

Ok i changed my Factory K-Frame with a UMI K-Frame and now my wheel is 90 Degrees off, there seems to be nothing that i can do about it ..

From what i read the ls1 steering shaft will make it 90 degrees off but I bought the K-Frame for an LT1 car, and it clearly has the LT1 motors mounts..

I called UMI and they said the rack is mounted in the same spot on the lt1 as on the ls1, so if thats the case how in gods name can it be 90 degrees off just from changing the k-frame. it was lined up perfectly with the factory.
