Tuning my susp?

In my 96 Z i have KYB adjustable shocks in the rear and front however the rear is squeeking like crazy and i think thats due to the tuning of my shocks. currently they are set at 8, which is the stiffest. which setup would be the smoothest drive w/o any squeeking and bouncing?

Not to point out the obvious but trial and error seems to be the quickest way to find out that answer. Adjust.....drive, adjust.....drive. Rinse and repeat until you've washed those squeeks right out of your hair.

well if they are as stiff as they can go and they squeak loosen them up. ??

I have koni's and just did trial and error with mine. I set them to sam strano's starting points and adjusted them from there. I ended switching them to different settings (front and rear) and then a few more times each. But i ended up going back to the settings sam told me to start with.

I have a buddy who has kyb's. Man they are just junk, get something that will not perform like crap no matter what the setting. I think your going to be chasing you tail on this one. Good luck
