tubing the rear

Any advice on how to tub a rear end in a 1993 Z28. I just got some bogart wheels and slicks on. Ive got 275 tires and all and they dont fit without wheels spacers. I really need to tub it, any ideas on where i can take it or how i could do it myself?

Are you sure you are using the correct size and b.s. for the wheel? Are you saying the 275 tire doesn't fit or the slick? What size is the slick? With the proper rim and a "light massage" 28x10.5x15 and 325/50/15 fit pretty well. You shouldn't need to mini tub until your in the 315/60/15 or 29.5x10.5 range. Even at that point I have seen people not mini tub the car, but then the tire sticks out a bit. Also, is the car lowerd at all? Here is a link to another member on the site that will be using a full tub on the car. http://web.camaross.com/forums/showthread.php?t=441396 If you where to do a mini-tub, it wouldn't be nearly as involved, but it's still an absolute pain to do it.

Ditto.... 28x11.5-15 Hoosier QTP's on 15x10 7.5" backspace Weld Pro-Stars and no mini-tubs, just a bit of hammering of the inner fender liner (which I had already done for 315/35-17 drag radials).

Did you get the Bogart wheels made specifically for the 4th Gen F-Body?
