Tokico HP's Do they have a purpose, or just plain suck?

I got a set for my car, put them on(replaced stock DeCarbons) and the ride still sucks...
From what I understand, these are for lowered vehicles.
I intended to lower my car ONE inch.. so I got BMR springs.
I have come to find out that LS1's are dropping WAY more than an inch(LT1 is heavier)

What I'd like to know is if I'm up the the creek without a paddle...
Can I still build a decent suspension around these shocks, or should I start over and take a loss?

I wanted a firm, controlled, but not rough ride, I really didn't wanna have to lower the car, but I wanted more spring rate..

Mike,

I'm going to answer this more in depth over on my website where you also asked. But the short answer is they do have a purpose, but that doesn't mean it's a proper choice for you. I'm a Tokico dealer, and have to admit I don't use them on these cars.

I am new to the F-Body cars and just put a set of the tokico shocks on it. I like them so far. The car had a bit of a disjointed feel with the stock shocks. It now feels like the front and rear are working together.

I don't disagree that they are way better than the stock shocks. They are absolutely better. But it's clear that Mike does not like his shocks all that much, and when run in comparison to others out there, they personally and professionally, aren't my first, 2nd choice, maybe 3rd but that would depend on the circumstances of the rest of the setup.
