thinking bout installing some next spring or this winter. do they really make a difference as in body flex and somewhat quite the car down alittle with rattles. classic fbody rear hatch lock rattles over bumps... plus i don't want to get dimps on the quarter panels also.

Doing a search for subframe connectors will give you alot of useful info on this subject since it comes up about once a week.

In my opinion its the very first mod you should do to any subframed car.

I suggest UMI boxed for $139.99. Although since you car is lowered you might want to look into Hotchkis ones, they supposedly are made for lowered cars. They run around $179.99 though. Yes they will help, although you need to think about that 1LE sway bar too

I used BMR round SFC "welded" for the ground clearance, boxed may go 1/2" or more below body, but is stronger... Mine is a daily driver....

And yes you will feel the difference....One of the best mods I made...

I'm using SLP weld-ins on my car and love the difference. I did lose a little ground clearance, but my y-pipe still hangs lower than the subframes do.
