Are these rotors worn out?..pics

I got these powerslots off ebay but I think they may be unevenly worn for some reason. I figured I'd get some opinions before I decide to trash them...The grooves on the fronts of them are in good shape but one of the backs seems to have a few grooves worn away. What would cause them to wear this way?

I'd say those are worn unevenly. I would not put those on my car.

Wear ultimately has to be checked with the right measuring tools. No way to tell for sure with a pic.

Check the thickness of them. If they are within something allowable then have them turned

Thanks for the input, I just needed confirmation. And there's on need for measuring tools to see the slots are gone...It just sucks to throw them away after I thought I was getting a good deal. Looks like I will be going with a cheap set of blanks from the parts store.

What if the slots werent cut exactly to the same depth? Then there wouldnt actually be anything wrong with them. I would try them first since rotors are not hard to swap before you spend more money on new ones.

Ok, I sent the guy I bought them from an email and this was his response:
"They are not worn, I had machined them once before. The slots are not machined to the exact same depth giving the illusion of uneven wear. I gaurantee they are flat are in parellel. I am a professional mechanic with over 18 years of experience and a specialty in brakes and suspension. I also design custom suspension for road race prepped vehicles so I can say I a fair of background. Trust me, they are fine."

Somehow I just dont buy that. Why would there be grooves missing entirely? Could there be that much of a lack of tolerances when the grooves are cut at the factory?.Now I'm starting just to get pissed off because they were clearly misrepresented in the auction..there was no mention of them having been machined before and only the good sides were pictured. Looks like I'm going to have to put a micrometer on them and see exactly what the deal is. If it turns out they are flat and within the minimum thickness..then I will feed them to the Hawk hp+ but if not I am going to burn this guy with neg feedback, paypal dispute, flood his email with gay ****, whatever it takes to let him know not to scam anyone else.. Thanks for the opinions.

Even if that is true, they'll be out of balance. the side w/out the slots will be heavier. On something that spins as fast as rotors that'll probably be felt. Plus the surface does NOT look like they have been machined. Are there raised rings? If so they haven't been machined. A machined rotor surface is flat and not polished smooth, but won't have ridges. All the machined rotors I've ever seen are all the have dull silvery metallic luster. Those look like they've been hot a few times.

Did he mention any of this in his auction? If not, tell him you want a full refund. I'd be disputing this crap.
