TCS Brake Lines

I have a '96 Z28 with ABS + Traction Control (4 channel) and I only want to delete the traction control portion. I've read a bunch of threads on this but haven't seen a solid answer on whether I can delete the TCS and keep my ABS system... Since my car is ODBII, do I need a ABS w/o TCS pcm to replace mine for ABS to function properly?

I looked through the chilton's manual and it looks like I can just T the two rear brake lines that originally went into the TCS unit and connect them directly to the ABS module. Will ABS still function when it's connected like this?

Also, can I just cut the stock flares/nuts off the rear lines and double flare them myself so I can use standard 3/16 nuts?

Thanks
