sway crazy

hey i've noticed for a while now and its getting worse, but when im going at speeds higher than 60 mph when i change lines the whole car sways ridiculously. And even worse my wheel is very easily moved out of my control when passing each set of wheels over the lineto switch lanes. this problem is scary and causes my whole car to go side to side when passing over the line to switch lanes. Im definately putting my money on a suspension related problem. Does any one who is a guru at suspension know what exactly is causing my problem or does any one else share this problem. thanks for any input.

Re: sway crazy

The stock suspension wouldn't drive like that; jack the car up and look over the suspension components. Are all of your sway bar end links in place (several guys have had a missing end link).

Re: sway crazy

well i just replaced the rear end and the sway bar is that little one that curves around the cover and attaches under the quarter pannel and to the axles right? bec i tightened everything down pretty good. so now i have no idea? if the sway bar isnt perfectly lined up or tightended can it cause that? Also i might want to add i had drag radials on my car for like 3 months before hand, and one of my friends came up with a theory of my already old supension getting warped due to the extensive squats from the drag radials(i couldnt spin them). idk im totally confused, a little more help please!

Re: sway crazy

Again check your suspension components (torque arm mount, torque arm bolts to rear axle, end links, shocks leaking?).
