Suspension Techniques 35mm or Sam Strano 35mm hollow ?

I'm about to switch my front sway bar.Have any of you made the switch from the S/T 35mm to Sam's Hollow 35mm?Is the savings in weight worth the trade off in stiffness.I asume the hollow bar is not as stiff as the solid one.
Thanks

7/8ths the strength yet a lot lighter than the solid... I would definitely go with the hollow one.

Hollow should suit you just fine. The OD is the biggest contributing factor to the torsional stiffness. It has a bigger moment arm against torque because it's bigger. The inside contributes little to the torsional stiffness. Wow, I guess those engineering classes are paying off.

Assuming price is not a factor for ya, Strano is highly regarded...however for me, budget is everything, I went with the ST 35 & like it very much. Yes it weighs more (10# maybe?) than the hollow bar, but for me the price offsets the weight penalty, especially if you do some other weight reduction or relocation mods anyway. I got the ST front & rear set for $260 I believe it was, free shipping.
