Ok, well im sure that my stock shocks are starting to go because the car hits pretty hard when i go over bumps in the road. So now begins the search and the decisions for what to go with. So i need help, since suspension is not all that familiar to me.

So my first idea was to go with just a nice adjustable shock and lower the car, but then after talkin with people, lowering the car is gonna cost your quarter mile time. And i dont feel like sacrificing that, so the only other options are drag shocks and springs or a coil over set.

And i dont like how drag shocks make the car look, its just too race car for me, i want it to look good when on the street. So my question is, what is a good coil over setup? I have no idea what prices are on these or what is good. What are people running on their car as far as coil over set-ups? Please reply back with some ideas, wanna get the ball in motion here.

 

I would put more money toward shocks. It's pretty hard to wear out springs.

 

Yeah, but i want to lower the car a little bit but not sacrifice my 1/4 mile.

So, anybody else have any other input about coil overs?

I think it lowers the car less than an inch..maybe like .75" from what i hear
