which suspension part should i do first???

which suspension part should i do first???

Well I wanna start moddin my suspension and I don't know where to start. I was thinking of buying the hotchkis suspension package for the rear...what do you guys think...should i start with something else...like a strut bar of sfc???

Yeah, subframes are a good start, get the weld-ins though. Also, there are other companies besides Hotchkis that make good quality suspension parts and have a greater selection at alot cheaper of a price. Check out Spohn, BMR, and Umiperformance.

The best upgrade up in my opinion: Shocks, Sway Bar and SubFrames.
After that consider additional suspension components if needed.

Yall are saying to get the weld in SFC's. What advantage doe they have over the bolt in. also, where can you get them welded in at?

We are saying get shocks first.

Nah i said get SFC's . Weld on ones are much more rigid. The bolt on ones will stretch the holes over time. A lot of people get SFC's installed/welded at local muffler shops.

Over time, there's a chance the bolt-on ones can shear the bolts due to the flexing. Not a problem with the weld on ones.

You can still go bolt on and just get them welded later though.

Exhaust shops will do it for you, you'll have to ask around. But make absolutely sure they do it using a drive-on lift, not the one that picks up your car by the frame.

SFC..

allows the rest of your suspension to work the way it was designed..instead of the body flexing.

Well i have billstein shocks already....do you think i should upgrade those. I was looking at the spohn sfc's
