susp. setup help

alright, i just got done w/ doing heads/cam on my car, and now im thinking about doing some suspension cuz i know im not gonna hook. ive never really done suspension mods on any car, so tell me what you guys think.. so far this is what i plan on getting

QA1 adjustable rear shocks

QA1 adjustable front shocks w/ 275 front springs

some type of LCA's...not sure which company im going w/ yet..but they will be adjustable, w/ Spherical Rod Ends also w/ relocation brackets.

and also some type of adjustable torque arm, also not sure of which company

those are what i was looking at...ill be sitting on m/t 275/40/17 streets. does this setup sound good? im looking for mostly traction for drag, handling isnt that big of an issue to me

thanks

The QA1's from what ive heard are for drag and the choice of many. Not street driving, handling, So they will suit your application. Do a search for the QA1, im sure it will provide you with some good information.

The list looks good, it will definitly make for a good drag setup. As for the torque arm, you may also consider one that is crossmember mounted elimininating the weak mounting point on the tranny tailshaft. There are several good companies to choose with these parts. I ended up going with Spohn for all of my needs.

From what I've read, a "drag race style" rear sway bar help. Spohn or Wolfe seem to be good choices, but expensive.

Good start for a drag set up. I went with UMI Performance and couldn't be happier with the quality and the price. Also may want to look at an adjustable panhard bar and bigger sway bar possibly a drag sway bar if that fits the budget.
