subframe connectors

hello. can anyone offer some info on the bolt ons. i have an 80 z28 that i will put 425hp with a 100 shot of nos in. was wondering if the bolt ons will be strong enough or should i use the weld ons. i know the weld ons are much stronger, but i also understand that there is alot more involved with installing these...(rear frame rails, underbody coating, etc...). thanks. grasmo.

Re: subframe connectors

You can use bolt ons, but after installation, have them welded. On my 94TA I have Jegsters bolt ons, that I installed myself, then I went to a muffler shop and also had them welded, this is to prevent the bolts from working themselves loose and creating headaches down the road.
