hey, ive always thought that my car sat lower on the passanger side, but never really checked for sure. thought it might just be uneven pavement in the garage and old springs. but after i changed to the eibachs and bilsteins, i still noticed it. so today i got out the ruler. sure enough, the passanger side sits 1/2 inch lower. front and back. brand new springs and shocks. im stumped. has anyone ever seen/heard of this?

 

im curious too... only for me, the front driver side corner sits about 1/2-3/4" higher than everywhere else. Seems odd. Would love to hear insight too...

 

My passengers side front its lower about an inch because of FRAME DAMAMGE!!! I used a spacer in the spring to counter act it. Ghetto

 

tfs...how old are your springs. if it is just 1 wheel, then chances are a spring is bad. but i have an even drop on both front and rear.

 

my car is the same way. i just put in a full suspension and the passenger side is lower a 1/2inch. when i sit in the car it just about levels out

 

Its a common prob w/4th gens and not related to spring sag. Mine does this w/my aftermarket and stock springs. Neither of which are sagging because I can switch the spring from side to side and it still sits the same way.
I have heard no legitimate explanation of what causes it.

I left the spring isolator in the right and heater hose mod on the left spring. Sets right and handles better now.

From what i have found this is very common. Mine was pretty bad, just over 5/8" lower on the pass. side. I put Edelbrock adjustable ride heigth coilovers on it and its much better now.

is it the isolator the rubber part that the spring sits in.

 

Yes, the isoloator is the rubber part, heater hose you put on the top coil and leave the isolator off.

 

do i put the heater hose on the 'saging' side? will this affect performance?

 

No the driver front is the only one that is high, the rest all sit at the same height. The driver front wheel well is about 1/2"-3/4" higher than the rest. I dont know what causes this either, maybe torque flex from hard launches? Since when you launch it lifts up and squats more in the rear passenger? I dunno.

 

have you checked to see if the spring is seated right?

 

No, put the hose on the high side (to lower it) and leave the isolator on the low side.

My rear seemes to handle better now that they are level. I was already running heater hose on both sides. So I just put the isolator back on the low side.

 

is there a way to lift the one side. that may be too low.
