hey just did the eibach prokit adn kyb adj shocks and struts and the strut mount ripped where the strut goes through and the one of the sturt mount bolts broke

any one ever had this problem

I have Sportlines and KYB's. Everything went fine for me. Of course, I did buy the new KYB upper/lower strutmounts and new upper bushings too. I also had a reputable shop mount the springs to the struts. Did you use the old mounts? How did it tear, did the middle of the mount break or what? That's a pretty odd thing to happen unless your old mount was crap and you tried to re-use it.

 

nope i used the brand new KYB strut mount and it just ripped out the center

isnt that weird

anyone else had this problem
