Spohn STB and intake manifold clearance.

I have a question for those with the Spohn strut tower brace, do any of you know off hand the distance between the brace and the intake manifold. The reason I ask is that I have my nitrous solenoids now mounted on top of the intake manifold, so my Hotchkis brace, which sits pretty low, had to be taken off. The Spohn brace looks like it sits higher so I'm wondering if it will have enough clearance to clear my solenoids.

A STB doesn't help the suspension of the 4th Gen. Basically eye candy. Not running a STB also solves your clearance issue

Not to argue with you or anything, but why would you say that the STB doesn't help??? I know there is alot of flex in these cars and I figured that a STB would help stiffen the front up by tying the struts together. I'm not trying to start anything, but I may be wrong and if I am I guess that you are saying me the money that I would have spent on a STB eventually

I follow Sam Strano's site. Sam has won several 4th Gen F-body road racing titles. From my read, the 3rd Gen F-body needed help in this area. The 4th Gen Shock towers have less flex.

I know someone who is willing to sell theirs to me for a cheap amount, so the cost is a non-issue and I figure it can't hurt to have. Just wondering if anyone knew the clearance off the top of their head before I emailed the Spohn tech support.
